Assignment: Second 800-words Essay on:
User Experience Description for "Public Participation in Architecture Developments" project

In 800 words or less and by using as much as possible visual material (sketches, storyboards, photgraphs, ...) describe
the user experience for our project in both situations: town hall extension and new stadium. Use and modify your own or
others personas, include the persona descriptions in your appendix and develop scenarios with user experiences. Derive
prototypical technology ideas with concrete interface suggestions (e.g. mock-up screen shots of cell phone display)

Use the literetur provided in class (e.g. Cooper et al., 2007; Buxton, 2007) as well as other sources. Be creative!

You are allowed and encouraged to work in groups, but the deliverable (the essay) is individual.
The deadline for the submission of the hardcopy (print-out as well as the electronic version of it (!) is the
seminar on May 26 2009.

While developing your second essay keep in mind that you are required to give a presentation on you user experience work.
Therefore, produce, identify, save material for this presentation too.

1. Creating problem and vision statements
2. Brainstorming
3. Identifying persona expectations
4. Constructing context scenarios
5. Identifying requirements

write a 800 words essay trageting our project on "Public Participation in Architecture Developments".
As example use cases use the town hall extension and the New Stadium developments in Dunedin. But keep in mind,
that other public, urban architecture developments in any other town should be targeted as well.
Use the template provided and cite and reference in APA style. Define and describe at least one primary and
one secondary persona. Feel free to use more persona types.
